notes for december

1. chinese people are the laziest cooks in the world. i'm allowed to say this because two different people made chinese food for me this past week, and they both admitted how easy and lazy it is. (which means i'm now allowed to be racist.) but think about it: the noodles only take sixty seconds to cook. their meat comes in BALL-FORM. in order to cook anything, you just need to throw it all in a pot of broth and a few minutes later, voila, it's done. chinese at its most authentic. wtf?!

2. in all seriousness, thanks for having me over, jeff. he made me dinner, an extremely nice gesture i am still warm and fuzzy about. he was also kind enough to let me stalk and torture his cat, and was patient enough to explain photography stuff to me. also? his house is just as pretty as in the pictures.

3. what do you want from santa? what are you current thoughts on the holiday season? does christmas music make you throw up in your mouth? (the only stuff i can stand now is vince guaraldi's charlie brown christmas soundtrack and the christmas song explosion from sufjan stevens). also? i want to make stockings from felt this year, and i think i actually will, lack of sewing skills be damnded.

4. i have some bad news. this blog is going to be on hiatus until the end of december. why? because exams will be over, christmas get-togethers will have been had, hibernation will have occurred, and website development stuff will have lead to a brand new spanking blog (don't worry, same address). i will miss you all and i hope you all have a great holiday season. a few tips until we see each other again:

a. mistletoe is your ultimate holiday wingman this month
b. facebook will not finish your exams for you.
c. my dad can beat up your dad (especially yours, mel!)
