cadence weapon is my new hip-hop superhero and also my new music crush. he performed at zaphod's last week and dom went with me and now even dom doesn't mind him, except he keeps complaining that a few of his rhymes are weak... ok sure but what mc out there DOESN'T have at least one weak rhyme? eh? that's right bitches.
but yeah, i agree that "it's tough where i'm from, edmonton" isn't exactly the best way to start your album. sure. whatever. the rest of breaking kayfabe is great, however, and i love all the nerdy pop culture references. plus he is an awesome awesome performer so THERE. my music crush is JUSTIFIED, dammit. oh yeah i wrote a review about it too and i make fun of his face or something. and if you haven't heard of him yet then well, you do now. here's his video.
