i feel like hermione granger

i am a lovah of information. i love learning. when i was a kid, i declared books as my bestest of friends. that's how fuckin lame i was am. even with a shitty memory and horrible math grades, i loved learning about stuff, all kinds of stuff. music stuff and film stuff and theatre stuff and sex stuff and computer stuff and internet stuff and photography stuff and cooking stuff and arts stuff and technology stuff and design stuff and fashion stuff and psychology stuff and neurology stuff and religious stuff and cultural stuff and stuff stuff stuff! so many other stuffs that i became stuffed.

while i may not be as smart as our lovely young female lead from the harry potter series, i am just as much a teacher's pet.

especially when it is in a class where the professor is fine and the subject matter fascinating.

the subject matter being internet technology and its mark on communication theory, my prof being the one i talked about entries ago.

so while the rest of the class remains mute when he asks "who knows about the linux/gnu community/voip/packet switching/etc", either because they don't know (which is most likely the case), or because they're not lame enough to raise their hand, i dislocate my shoulder in the process of hand-raising, because of some urgent need to impress.

it makes me sick. it reminds me of my nerdy fourth-grade year old self who did her homework the second she got home.

my only compensation is that i now have real friends and i am possibly a quarter less lame.

enough about me, check out the next ann coulter in university journalism... though don't be offended, because shock and outrage is exactly what she's after. instead, laugh at her idiocy.
